Assembly completed and pickup schedule

Good news, everyone!
We hope you are all doing great.
Chinese New Year is over and our manufacturer resumed operations on the 10th of February. We are pleased to announce that assembly is done, vessels are booked, and the pickup of the games has started today!
Here is the pickup schedule for the games:
UK - Already picked up
Australia - Already picked up
Europe/ROW - Forwarder will pick up the cargo on Saturday 2/19
USA - Awaiting date from the forwarder, likely during next week
Asia - Arranging pick up with VFI's logistics agent and planning to pick up the cargo on Tuesday 2/22 or Wednesday 2/23
As soon as we have the tracking code for the vessels/containers we will share them in an update.
We will be talking to you again before the end of the month.

Chinese New Year Update

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all doing great.
The Chinese New Year has officially started, and to those of you celebrating it: happy year of the Tiger!
We have accomplished everything we discussed in our latest update. Below you can find the condensed information.
Latest news about the project and timeline:
The manufacturer completed production on the 20th of January. Here are a few pictures of the game in its final look! We really like the inner color of the box.
The manufacturer assembled all the copies related to the base game and they will resume the assembling stage of Moonlight on February 10th, 2022, when they will be back from the Chinese New Year holidays.
Copies should be ready for freight on February 17th, 2022.
Assembly for all the Creator journals and localized versions of the rules are also done.
Here you can find the final photos of the Big Box. We have added the beautiful inner printing of the game to this box too, and we have added a reinforced lid inside the box as extra protection during transport. The photo below includes both the base game and the moonlight expansion.

January Update

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all doing great.
I’m sorry I couldn’t update you before the end of December as during the last few days of 2021 both me and Veronica got Covid and while we are getting better, it always feels like for every 2 steps forward we go 1 step back. I couldn’t believe it would last this long, but I really appreciate your patience while waiting.
Latest news about the project and timeline:
I had a meeting with our manufacturer a couple of days ago where they confirmed the end of production by January 20th, 2022.
As some of you know, the Chinese New Year holidays are coming closer, and while the idea was to place all games on the vessels before this break, our manufacturer needs a bit more time to complete assembly, so this was the course of action we have decided to take along with Ninox.
On Jan 20th, we will have a video call with our manufacturer to see how they have assembled the first copy of each edition (I’ll do my best to record or take pictures of it).
The assembly for everything related to the Spirits of the Forest Base game will start immediately, along with a few add-ons.
The manufacturer will go on a shorter CNY break from Jan 27th until Feb 10th.
On Feb 10th, the assembly for Moonlight will begin (by that time, we would have already received and accepted the assembly sample sent to us).
On Feb 17th, all the different copies of the games will be ready for freight. We will schedule and book the required containers for this date.
2021 was definitely a challenging year for everyone. We will do our best to be resolutive and keep the workflow going in 2022. We really appreciate your support while waiting for the game and we hope you will be proud of the final result.

As we have switched to 2-weeks updates, these will become more condensed and short.
The manufacturer is working to have the game ready (assembly included) by January 22nd. Below you will find a collage of photos from our manufacturer.
The team is working on all the logistics aspects of the project and the different packing lists required for travel. We are also in touch with our freight broker to make sure we have availability of containers when the time comes.

End of November Update - Moonlight Unboxing

As we have switched to 2-weeks updates, these will become more condensed and short.
We finally received the final copies of the game (excluding the rulebooks which we received white samples of, as everything has been approved digitally). Let us know what you think about it!
Latest news about the project and timeline:
The manufacturer is working to have the games ready for freight in January 2022, and we will proceed with it despite the cost.
The team is working on all the logistics aspects of the project and we are already manufacturing the protected cartons as we did for the Matchbox Collection to secure the games while these are being shipped to you.
We improved the Big Box by adding Spot UV to the cover and an illustrated interior of the box.
