DAY 8: A small teaser and live streaming announcement
over 3 years ago – Wed, Jul 29, 2020 at 11:58:46 PM

Dear Seraphs,

We hope your week is going well! The campaign is steadily moving forward and we plan to reveal the new set of Stretch Goals tomorrow!

We have been hearing your suggestions and in the next reveal, you may find something that really belongs to you.

You have also been asking about the Moonlight tiles!

This is a new type of tile that will be included in selected scenarios and in the multiplayer variant of Moonlight. Its rules will change depending on the scenario you are playing.

Tomorrow, our team will be live on Twitch, playing one of the most difficult scenarios of Moonlight, in which the Moonlight tiles will play a crucial role for the victory.

Join us tomorrow, 29th of July at 8 PM CET / 2 PM EST on our Twitch channel or by visiting our Kickstarter campaign page. Follow us on Twitch to be notified: https://www.twitch.tv/thundergryphgames

Come and discover this new expansion and get a chance of winning add-ons during the live stream. You will also be able to freely ask any questions you may have about the game and the campaign.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Sincerely yours,

Everybody here at Thundergryph Games

DAY 7: Photos from the pre-production samples
over 3 years ago – Wed, Jul 29, 2020 at 10:12:11 AM

Dear Seraphs,

Are we already halfway through the campaign? Time really flies! We hope you are all doing well and enjoying the journey.

In these past six days, you have unlocked 15 goals with the next being just a couple of thousands away!

Are you interested in any mechanism of Spirits of the Forest: Moonlight in particular? We are organizing our next live stream and it would be great to know your opinion on what you’d like to see next!

Moonlight Wooden edition photos

Nick from Ninox, our manufacturer, was kind enough to take pictures of some samples of the items inside of the Wooden edition of Spirits of the Forest: Moonlight. We hope you like how it looks already!

Colors of the Nocturnal Creatures are not final

We understand that the most important part of delivering on time is having a product that is almost ready for production to start exploring the look and feel of each one of the components that will go out to you.

As this is not our first campaign for Spirits of the Forest, we understood what are the challenges and how much time is needed for completion. While the campaign is running, we are working on adding the new scenarios to the journal and the elements in which you have contributed creatively during the campaign.

Talk to you again tomorrow and we wish you a great week!

Sincerely yours,
Everybody here at Thundergryph Games

DAY 5: Create your own Moonlight bit!
almost 4 years ago – Mon, Jul 27, 2020 at 02:09:21 AM

Dear Seraphs,

We are entering the fifth day of the campaign and you are almost 4000! We are so glad that you like Spirits of the Forest and that you are enjoying this journey with us since the beginning.

The last goal revealed is a few thousand away from us. As soon as we unlock the scenario and the new Moonlight bit shape, we will reveal our next set.

Your special Moonlight bit

These small creatures have awakened the collector spirit in each one of you, and we are excited as you are. We would like to know more about what’s on your mind. You are the soul of this campaign and we want you to be part of the creative process.

We will be reading and gathering information both in this update and the general comment section.

We wish you a great Saturday and see you tomorrow!

Sincerely yours,
Everybody here at Thundergryph Games

DAY 6: Scorepad, new scenario and Moonlight bit!
almost 4 years ago – Mon, Jul 27, 2020 at 01:02:55 AM

Dear Seraphs,

We are on day six of the campaign and we couldn’t be more thankful for all of your love towards Spirits of the Forest. We are almost halfway through this campaign.

Thank you so much for your great suggestions regarding your own custom Moonlight bit which we announced yesterday. We have been reading closely all of your suggestions and as for now, it looks like this!

We are brainstorming and you will be surprised! That doesn’t mean it’s over. You can freely suggest any other bit you would like to see next or share with us which ones you like the most from this list.

New stretch goal reveal

Scorepad needs no introductions! The one you know and love for both competitive and cooperative Moonlight games.

A new Moonlight bit shape and this time a scenario from Francesco Ubbiali, forest partner of Rocco, and also one of our best-performing testers.

There's no two without three. The Tao is nothing new to us at Thundergryph and Francesco Ubbiali wanted to pay tribute to the underlying natural order of the Universe, by creating something that diminishes your ability to control the game, resulting in more tile revealing moments and increased tension.

Another scenario in our journal? Almost checked!

That’s it, at least for now. See you tomorrow!

Sincerely yours,
Everybody here at Thundergryph Games

DAY 4: The power of imagination
almost 4 years ago – Sat, Jul 25, 2020 at 01:22:48 AM

Dear Seraphs,

We really had a wonderful time yesterday during the stream! We played two matches, one with the Enchanted cards that we recently unlocked, and one with the Arctic Wolf. Both games were very tense right up until the end!

If you want to watch the playback, it is available on our Twitch channel!

New Set of Stretch Goals

We are advancing steadily through the Moonlight forest. 13 goals have been unlocked (including the one you just unlocked from the new set) and we have two more Stretch Goals before we release the next set, that we are sure you will love!

As you can see this time around, we have two different scenarios in this set.

Rocco Dereviziis is one of our most dedicated playtesters, his winning rate along with his partner playtester Francesco Ubbiali has been really impressive.

The more you play Moonlight the more you will be inspired to create your own scenario, tell your own story.

He imagined a scenario where there are bridges made of hidden Spirit tiles that connect islands. As soon as you step out of a bridge, it will disappear and go directly to the team of the corresponding Nocturnal Creature. While this might sound like a great advantage to use with the Light Nocturnal Creature, you will have to be careful not ending up confined on an island or the game will get extremely difficult for you, and what once seemed to be an advantage suddenly becomes a big problem.

We will be reading your comments and imagining along with you. It might inspire all of us.

See you tomorrow!

Sincerely yours,
Everybody here at Thundergryph Games
